Day 21, Project 365

As I had hoped, I made it back downtown to get some shots of the Cathedral lit up for the Red Bull Crashed Ice event.  Spectacular!  My awesome hubby was my 'assistant' in that he drove and took direction from me as to where I wanted to go to get the 'best shot' and patiently waited for me.  It wasn't lit up quite as blue as it had been Monday night but it was still beautiful.  I had to quickly get over feeling like a dork toting my tripod around and it was SO worth it.  I had a tough time deciding which picture to use but after about half an hour of comparing my three favorites, I finally decided.  Definitely still learning things; looking back there are a few things that I would have done differently but all in all, I'm pleased.  The Winter Carnival is just around the corner and I'm anxious to get out and take some fun winter photos (thanks for the reminder, Tara!).   #project365
