Day 364, Project 365

At the risk of sounding repetitive, Holy Hannah!  Day 364?!?
I want to reflect but I think I'll save that for Day 365 (which will almost certainly be posted on 1/1/16 ;) ).

A couple shots of the tree in the front yard tonight - with the old camera.

And a shot of Fozzie while I was testing out modes on my NEW CAMERA!  :)

Day 362, Project 365

Some more of my favorite ornaments:

The two glass bulbs were my grandma's and the sequin bell is one that my mom made.  The two glass bulbs have got to be 50 years old or more and the hand-made one is well over forty years old.  I love having this keepsakes, things I truly treasure.

Day 361, Project 365

And here we go...winding down:

Couldn't resist adorable Nala as she sunned herself this morning:
Last of the Christmas celebrations today:
The Valencour kids

And to top it off, gorgeous sunset tonight!!

Day 360, Project 365

I know I keep saying this but Holy Hannah!  I can't believe how little time is left in 2015 and that I actually have seen this project through this far!

So this came in the mail today!!

Day 359, Project 365

Christmas Day!

A little tree bokeh.

A different perspective.

My world!

Day 358, Project 365

Merry Christmas Eve!

A few of my favorites from tonight:

Lauren and Ben

The Three Amigo, class of 2017 cousins, Kaitlyn, Jack and Sara

Kait and Lo after Mass.

Day 357, Project 365

Second of five Christmas celebrations tonight!  So blessed to have the Stoehr family to take me in all those years ago and treat me like their own.  :)

I didn't snap this shot - I did set it up though, that's gotta count for something, right?  This is me with my only Goddaughter.  I'm blessed with numerous Godchildren (that might be a bucket list thing - have a photo taken with all of my Godchildren!!) but only one Goddaughter.

And Skyping with Jimbo in Michigan:

Lastly, feeling a little sentimental...this is the last ornament I ever received from my mom.  I collect ornaments and have quite an extensive collection: ones from my grandma and mom given to me as a child, ones of my grandma's and mom's, ones given to me by my husband and daughters, ones from friends.  I treasure this and enjoy every year looking back and remembering.  Of course, ones given to me long ago or by people that are no longer here hold an extra special place in my heart - this happens to be one of those:

Day 356, Project 365

Another of my favorite ornaments.  Bob gave this to me quite a few years ago.  With my love of The Nutcracker, it's perfect: it winds up in back (like a music box) and when you pull the drawer open the ballerina spins and Tchaikovsky's Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy plays.  On the back of the ornament  it says "For every princess, a castle...".  *sigh* so perfect!  :)

Day 354, Project 365

Took a trip downtown St. Paul to look at the beautiful lights in Rice park.

Day 353, Project 365

Family Christmas!  Here's all the grandkids with grandma and bubba.

Day 352, Project 365

I have a very small Nutcracker collection (perfectly fine with me!!) but I treasure what I do have.  This one is circa 1981, a gift my uncle and aunt after they sent us to see The Nutcracker at Northrop Auditorium.  I was hooked from that performance on.

Day 351, Project 365

Brady's Christmas program...almost makes me miss these days...  :)

Day 350, Project 365

Meet Ollie - one of the therapy dogs at work!  He's the size of a miniature pony but so, so sweet!

Day 349, Project 365

Nala was looking so cute tonight.

Day 348, Project 365

Yeah...this was quite the feat and I still didn't get the shot I wanted.  The little turd wanted nothing to do with his Santa outfit or having his picture taken.

Day 347, Project 365

When I went to head outside to snap a couple photos, this magically appeared on on door.  Me thinks the culprit is the youngest child.  :)

What I was actually trying to capture:
No snow and raining on December 13!

Day 346, Project 365

A little basketball and topped off the night by seeing Uncle Gary as Kris Kringle in Miracle on 34th Street.

Day 345, Project 365

Our third year participating in the 'Clouds Choir' in honor/remembrance of Zach Sobiech.

Day 344, Project 365

Another favorite ornament of mine from my childhood:

Day 343, Project 365

Stunning sunrise this morning - tried catching it but all I got by the time I got to work was this...

Day 342, Project 365

My therapy bands are color-coordinated for Christmas!  ;)

Day 341, Project 365

Another of my favorite ornaments.  It's just simple, nothing too ornate about it but simple's all you need with Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus.

I love, too, that it's inscribed on the bottom from my Grandma Filas (Turtle).  :)

Day 340, Project 365

A little trip to the Como Conservatory today to enjoy the beautiful Poinsettias in the Sunken Garden.

Hate that there are people in my way but but still it's gorgeous in there.  :)

And Kait and Irvin:

Lastly, Dasher is getting ready for his big day - just 19 days left!

Day 339, Project 365

We have no kids in any sports currently, let alone anyone even playing basketball when they are active yet I found myself at three different basketball games yesterday.  Goddaughter Samantha, Nephew Max and Niece Maci.
