Day 211, Project 365

How  much is that doggy in the window...?

And, I kind of liked the isolated flower and am LOVING the color!  :)

Day 208, Project 365

Well, I had thought my picture would be garden today (again), so I have these...

But then Kait and Fozzie were hanging in the hammock and I couldn't resist.  :)

Day 207, Project 365

Our strange cat, Kitty, laid by the patio door most of the day.  She would't move a whisker for anyone or anything...

And, was outside in the garden and happened to catch this bee doin' its thing.

Day 206, Project 365

My oldest baby turned 21 today!  What?!?!  Exactly half my life a go she made me a mommy for the very first time.  It's crazy to think she is now the age I was when I had her.  Time goes way too quickly...

Day 204, Project 365

Amazing what ahppens in the garden from one day to the next.  Yesterday, unopened Stargazer.  Today, fully bloomed!  I wish I could capture the smell...heavenly!

Day 203, Project 365

Loved our flag with the sun behind it tonight.  And I had to get my Stargazer trying to open!!  :)

Day 202, Project 365

Checked out a few more spots with my oldest tonight and managed to grab a couple of cool shots (I think, anyway).  :)

The little specks in the sky aren't dust on my camera but hot hot air balloons over the St. Croix Valley.

The Andiamo paddling down the St, Croix.

Day 201, Project 365

So, somehow I got off on my days.  Another #365 photographer that follow posted her day 200 and I thought to myself, how could she be at 200 already....then I grabbed a calendar, checked the days and realized, yep, she's right.  I only had to go back to day 173 to correct everything - not too bad.
Tonight I was lucky enough to have my oldest offer to go with me tonight to check out a few locations for a senior shoot I'm going to do in a couple weeks (yep, you read that right, my first.senior.shoot!).  Excited and nervous and grateful this family trusts me enough to ask!  :)

On the way home I stopped at a cornfield that I had noticed the other day.  I loved the rows of corn but of course my eye saw it differently than I made my camera see it.  HOWEVER, what's cool is that stopping my car on the side of a relatively busy road and getting outside to take a picture with no one else with me is definitely outside my comfort zone and I did it and lived to tell!!

Day 200, Project 365

Happened to catch a butterfly in the garden today (yay)!  Hope the neighbors appreciated  my little happy dance!  And the youngest and her 17-day younger cousin went to the Kenny concert tonight so I couldn't leave them out.  :)

Day 199, Project 365

Beautiful night for Kenny Chesney at Target Field

Beautiful, actually, stunning flowers that were at work today for an event.

Day 197, Project 365

Loving the drizzle that was sticking so beautifully to the flowers today.  :)

Day 196, Project 365

Food photographer I'm not.  However, this strawberry was too delicious looking (and tasting) to not photograph!

Day 192, Project 365

My garden went NUTS while we were on vacation.  I think everything is now in bloom!  :)

Day 191, Project 365

Car wash!

Day 190, Project 365

Last day of vacation.  :(

Had to  post this one; after I shot it and took a peek at it, Kaitlyn looks over my shoulder and says 'that's a cool picture'.  :)  It was taken in the Split Rock Lighthouse keeper's home, now museum.

And lastly, the girls and grandma and bubba at Split Rock Lighthouse.

Day 189, Project 365

Day 188:
Another gorgeous day in Grand Marais:

A long day in the car but we saw a lot of beautiful sights.

Flood Bay at Superior Shores.

Day 188, Project 365

Propped the camera on a sturdy spot, used the remote release and here's the result.  We're not in focus too well but I love the soft falls behind us.  :)

Day 187, Project 365

Day two of vacation was rainy most of the day but cleared late afternoon.

Day 186, Project 365

Vacation!  No worries I was still taking a photo a day (or in reality, many dozen per day).  Here's my favorite from Day 185.  The girls at Gooseberry Falls State Park.

Day 182, Project 365

Watched a little soccer tonight - Goddaughter Sam was playing.  They lost, 1-0, but was a great defensive game.
