Using Project 365 (a photo a day for an entire year!) as a way to motivate me to take photos more often, focus on what it is I am taking photos of and learn in the process. Doing a blog along with it to help to document the process while trying to keep my vulnerability in check. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

Day 291, Project 365
Busy, busy day! Got to spend a little time with cuties Sarah and Luke (and their mommy and daddy, too!) and then off to have some fun with cousin Robin and her handsome guys. :) Dinner with the hubby and then trying to get through photos from last weekend!
I mean. seriously, that smile and laugh!
Mom throwing leaves is all it took!
So, so sweet!
I've been wanting to try this type of image and almost forgot about it today. So glad I remembered - I love the whole 'mom and dad looking at their sons' look. And, it probably helps that the three are as good-looking as they are!

Day 290, Project 365
Took a trip down to Belle Plaine today for some family photos at my mother-in-law's uncle's farm. I've got to admit, I was a little nervous thinking about getting 14 people in one photo, everyone looking and smiling - but the day went SO smoothly!
After the photos were done and we stopped for lunch, Bob and I drove to Union Hill where his great-grandmother was from (I believe that to be the story...or maybe it's great-great grandmother), snapped a couple photos of St. John's Catholic Church and the cemetery.

My in-laws in front of the old farm house where Gladys spent many summers. Grandpa Reisgraf bought this home, out of foreclosure, 95 years ago. The house itself is 103 years old.
Screen door - 'R' for Reisgraf
St. John's
Absolutely amazed there's a headstone for someone born in 1786!

Day 286, Project 365
Game Day! Last home game of the year...can't believe it's already this close to be done for the season. They won in three against their rival - same team they beat on Saturday for the championship. This puts them in first place in their conference. :)
