Day 6, Project 365

January 6: Hubby's birthday (and Epiphany) = celebration!  The four of us and my in-laws had a great dinner at Pizzeria Pezzo (FABULOUS server!) and I knew today's picture would be easy.  I wanted to capture my hubby with only the ambient light and the light from the candles on his cake.  I was fairly successful - a little grainy for my taste (my own worst critic, right?) but it works.  I am truly blessed to be able to call this man my husband and he deserves to be celebrated; hope he enjoys Neil Diamond (who am I kidding -  he'll be in heaven!).  Cheers to number 43!

    For some reason birthday candle photos intimidate me, but I think you did a good job of capturing the moment!

    Thank you - thankfully my family is patient enough with me to let me adjust - and even take a test shot - until I'm satisfied. Really wanted to get 43 candles on the cake and get that picture but I'll settle for what I got.
